Written records for state-owned land managed by the Agency of Natural Resources are maintained by this section. It is the goal of the Lands Division to provide accurate surveys and to produce and maintain comprehensive property records of lands and appurtenant rights owned and/or managed by the three Departments of the Agency. Two full time licensed land surveyors currently represent the entire full time staff devoted to lands surveying, mapping, property records research, and boundary line identification, delineation and monumentation for all property ANR currently manages. Staff in district offices at the instruction of the survey section are responsible for much of the boundary maintenance work on state lands.
