How the Arbor Day Passport Works There are 23 different projects. Each project’s degree of difficulty is described in the following chart as Seedlings (kindergarten, grades 1 and 2), Saplings (grades 3, 4 and 5) and/or Trees (grades 6, 7 and 8). However, all projects can be adjusted to accommodate varying degrees of difficulty. Feel free to adapt activities to meet your needs, including, for example, helping students complete the activities, organizing group activities or reading to younger students who can’t read for themselves.

Combine the Passport Workbook Projects with the Trading Cards that were designed and developed through last year’s ‘Growing Works of Art’ contest. The 2012 Trading Cards come with six cards to a set. You can give them out as a prize after they complete a certain number of projects or give them out individually as they complete projects and encourage collecting the whole set.
