Each spring for the last 14 years, the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation's Foresters visit schools to talk about trees and forests, invite classes to create Arbor Day posters, give seedlings out to plant, and overall get kids of all ages involved in our favorite topic: trees. In fact, we have become so popular that we refer to May as Arbor Month because we visit nearly 100 elementary schools during the month. With our new sponsor, Vermont Electric Power Company, (VELCO), providing us additional funding and seedlings for nearly 10,000 students, we are again ready to offer a great Arbor Day program for 2008. Please join us.
To sign up for an Arbor Day Program you have a few options:
Sign up deadline is March 21, 2008

Special thank you to our tree partners who continue to offer assistance in helping us provide our Arbor Day programs each Spring.
