the Program
Funded in part by a grant
from the USDA Forest Service, Vermont's Urban & Community
Forestry Program is designed to help communities plan, plant,
and care for their community trees. Since the programs inception
in 1991, the program has provided technical and financial
assistance to over 150 Vermont communities and more than
$875,000 in competitive grants have been awarded to Vermont
municipalities and volunteer organizations all over Vermont.

Support
Trees for
Local Communities (TLC) Cost-share Program provides money
to Vermont communities for the purpose of developing and implementing
local urban and community forestry programs.
